Madrid has hundreds of options for exercising. Big gym chains with thousands of square metres, CrossFit studios, yoga centres, functional training boxes. And more and more Reformer Pilates studios. In the middle of so much choice, the hard part is not finding somewhere to train, but finding the place where you want to stay.
Pinar Pilates was born with a clear premise: to create a space where Reformer Pilates is done exceptionally well. Not the biggest, not the flashiest, not the one with the most services. The one that does what it does best. A boutique Reformer Pilates studio where every class, every instructor and every detail is designed so that your experience is the best possible.
A Studio Designed for the Experience, Not for Volume
The boutique philosophy is defined by a conscious decision: limiting capacity to maximise quality. At Pinar Pilates, that translates into concrete facts.
A maximum of 8 people per class. Not 10, not 12, not “up to 8 but sometimes 10”. Eight. We have exactly 8 Reformers and we never add an extra one to squeeze in another person. That limit guarantees that every student receives individual corrections in every session.
More than 40 classes a week. Although the groups are small, the timetable is wide. Monday to Friday there are classes from 7:00 to 10:00, from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:30 to 13:00. This combination of small groups and a high frequency of classes is unusual in Madrid: most boutique studios offer very small groups but few classes, or many classes but with large groups.
4.9 out of 5 on Google with more than 490 reviews. This is not a rating inflated by 15 opinions. It is more than 490 people who have rated their real experience. That score, sustained over time and at that volume, reflects a consistency in quality that goes beyond the anecdotal.
Our Space at Calle del Pinar 8
The studio occupies premises at Calle del Pinar 8, in the heart of the Salamanca district (28006, Madrid). The design of the space prioritises functionality and a feeling of spaciousness.
The main room houses the 8 Reformers, spaced far enough apart for the instructor to move around comfortably and for each student to have their own working space. Lighting, temperature and acoustics are looked after to create an atmosphere that supports concentration without feeling cold or excessively “zen”.
The studio has changing rooms with showers, lockers and everything you need to change before and after class. Many students come straight from work or leave for it, and they need that quick, comfortable transition.
Our Team of Instructors
In a boutique studio, instructors are not interchangeable. They are the main reason students come back. At Pinar Pilates we have five specialist professionals.
Giuliana Di Giovanni. With international training and an approach that combines classical Pilates technique with contemporary elements. Giuliana is especially valued for her ability to adapt exercises for students with physical limitations or specific conditions.
Gabriela Seminara. Her teaching style combines technical rigour with personal warmth. Gabriela has an especially sharp eye for spotting muscle imbalances and working on them progressively over the sessions.
Camila T. Brings energy and dynamism to her classes. She is the go-to instructor for students looking for more intense sessions within the Pilates method. Her Pinar Cardio and Pinar Legs classes are among the most in demand.
Montserrat Sierra. Her training lets her work with a very precise focus on postural alignment and activation of the deep muscles. Ideal for students looking for meticulous, detailed work.
Abel Gomez. Brings a complementary perspective to the team and is especially popular with students looking for functional strength work integrated into Pilates practice. His Upper Body classes have a loyal following.
The five instructors work with a shared methodology but with personal styles that enrich what we offer. We recommend new students try classes with different instructors during the first weeks to find the ones that best suit their goals.
5 Class Types for Every Goal
Not every Reformer session is the same. At Pinar Pilates we have developed five class formats to work the body completely and avoid monotony.
Pinar Reformer. The core class of the method. It works the whole body with a balance of strength, flexibility and control. It is the recommended format for beginners and for anyone who wants a complete, balanced session.
Pinar Legs. A session focused on the lower body: glutes, quads, hamstrings, adductors and calves. Ideal for toning, improving knee and hip stability, and complementing sports such as running or padel.
Pinar Cardio. A faster pace, less rest between exercises, cardiovascular work integrated with the principles of Pilates. For those who want a more intense session that also builds endurance.
Upper Body. Focused on the upper body: shoulders, arms, chest, back and core. Especially recommended for professionals who work at a computer and need to counteract office posture.
Stretch. A mobility and active stretching session on the Reformer. Perfect for complementing the more intense classes, improving flexibility and reducing built-up muscle tension.

Frequently Asked Questions about Pinar Pilates
Do I need previous experience to join?
No. We welcome students of every level, from absolute beginners to people with years of practice. Small groups of 8 people maximum let the instructor adapt the exercises to each person’s level within the same class.
Can I choose my instructor?
Yes. When you book your class through our online system, you can see which instructor teaches each session and choose according to your preferences. We recommend trying several instructors during the first weeks.
What should I bring to my first class?
Comfortable sportswear (leggings or tracksuit bottoms, a fitted T-shirt) and socks. You do not need sports shoes. The studio has changing rooms with showers and lockers. We provide all the equipment needed for the class.
How many times a week should I come?
To see significant results, we recommend a minimum of 2 sessions a week. With 3 sessions a week, the changes in posture, strength and flexibility clearly speed up. The unlimited plan (€250/month) is the most efficient option for anyone who wants to train 4 or more times a week.
Do classes fill up fast? Is there a waiting list?
With more than 40 classes a week, there is availability at the vast majority of times. The most popular slots (first thing in the morning and late afternoon on weekdays) can fill up 1-2 days ahead, but there are rarely availability problems if you book with a little notice.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. You can cancel or change your booking through the online system up to a few hours before the class. See the details of our cancellation policy when you register.
